A Paducah area winery can now sell alcohol on Sundays. Purple Toad Winery received enough votes in a Lone Oak precinct election. 

Voters determined whether 'small farm wineries' like Purple Toad can sell their product between the hours of 1 and 10 p.m.

The owners of Paducah’s Purple Toad Winery have collected the required number of signatures and turned in a petition for a special vote on whether to allow Sunday sales in their Lone Oak precinct.

A McCracken County winery is petitioning officials to allow it to sell alcohol on Sundays in order to keep up with competing businesses.

Local winery owners are in support of a bill moving through the Kentucky Legislature to allow them to distill wine waste products to create brandy and other so called fortified wines.

The Kentucky House approved the bill this week.  

Paducah Art Guild's Susan French joins Kate Lochte on Sounds Good to talk about the third annual Art in the Vineyard at Purple Toad Winery on Old US 45, Noon to 5 pm on October 12. Artists will display, sell, and demonstrate their work including pottery, paintings, jewelry, woodwork, and more. Singer/songwriter Mark Donham and Dorothy & Jace Seavers will provide music.
