Murray State Athletics is searching for a new softball coach, after falling short of the OVC tournament championship this weekend. Athletics Director Allen Ward says current coach Jay Pyron will not return next season. Pyron finishes his career at Murray State with an overall record of 80-79 and 43-37 in OVC play. Ward did not give a reason for Pyron's departure.

"...but I knew you wouldn't miss the fifty year storm."

NPR reports "Wingnut", "Frosty", and "Fathead" are all surfers, but they're also Santa Cruz city council members, and now they have a World Surf Reserve.
