MSU Athletic Director on NCAA Rules Changes

Murray State University’s Athletic Director Allen Ward takes a look at NCAA rules changes and steps he's taken to ensure the university's compliance. He also talks about the new season ahead for Murray State on the field and on the court. It's Coach Chris Hatcher's fourth year, and several players who are key to the football team's success this year. He talks about Coach Steve Prohm's recent recruitment and some returning players and putting together a new team. 

Murray State basketball player Isaiah Canaan is a Lou Henson All-American. The team, named after the retired coach and Division One player, consists of 25 top basketball players.

The Murray State Racers put up an 81-73 victory over the Eastern Kentucky Colonels Friday night to advance to the Ohio Valley Conference tournament championship. The Racers will face Belmont on Saturday for a chance at their 16th overall and second straight OVC title.

On Sounds Good, Tracy Ross spoke with to "The Voice of The Racers" Neal Bradley about all things Racer Basketball. They caught up on the last couple of weeks of Racer basketball, specifically the last four games, and preview tonight (Thursday) and Saturday's games. Also, they preview next week's OVC tournament in Nashville.

The Murray State Men’s Basketball team won out over Austin Peay Saturday night 75 to 68 at the CFSB Center in Murray.

Circuit Judge Craig Clymer is reviewing a revised plea agreement involving assault and wanton endangerment charges against suspended Murray State basketball player Zay Jackson. Clymer rejected an initial plea deal Commonwealth Attorney Mark Blankenship offered Jackson.
