The Kentucky state auditor’s office found several non-compliance issues with the Caldwell County Fiscal Court’s financial practices. The comments came in the 2010-2011 fiscal year audit released today. The report found poor tax record keeping, and a lack of outside review.

The Kentucky Personnel Board will open an investigation into alleged improprieties at the Department of Agriculture under former Commissioner Richie Farmer. Farmer served in the post from 2004 to 2011. 

Kentucky State Auditor Adam Edelen has found poor financial reporting practices at the Carlisle County Sheriff’s office in the department’s most recent audit.
