Murray's Freedom Fest is full of activities for families this weekend, from golf tournaments, farmers market, parade with kazoo band, to arts and crafts vendors, inflatable and games for kids, a car show, live music by WKMS Battle of the Bands winners Big Atomic and finalists Red Ember, the Town & Gown Community Band concert and.... fireworks! Murray's annual tradition of food, fun and fireworks is back this Friday and Saturday. Festivities kick off Friday evening with a street fair featuring food, crafts, games, a beer garden, and an outdoor concert by Swamp Donkey and Margarita Beach. Murray Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Erin Carrico walks us through Freedom Fest, beginning Friday with a 7:30 a.m. Veteran's Remembrance Ceremony at Chestnut Park.
