TN To Introduce Drivers’ License Kiosks

Tennessee State government is opening self-service kiosks that will allow drivers to renew or replace their driver licenses and state identification cards that will hopefully reduce lines and wait times.

AAA Expects Busy Season

About 39,000 motorists in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio and western Pennsylvania are expected to call AAA East Central for help while traveling during the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

AAA East Central projects it will replace more than 6,500 dead car batteries, change nearly 6,000 flat tires, retrieve nearly 4,800 sets of keys locked inside vehicles and extricate 2,000 vehicles stuck in snow or mud.

Gas Prices Saw Decline in April

The first three day holiday weekend of the summer is upon us and AAA says car travel will be the preferred mode of transportation.  In fact, Christopher Oakford at Bluegrass Triple A says more Kentuckians are expected to take a trip over 50 miles compared to last Memorial Day.  Oakford says the auto club took a survey of motorists back in April.
