A local TV meteorologist and her husband have been arrested and face felony charges involving a marijuana grow operation.
32-year-old Tori Shaw-Smoyer, an on-air employee of WPSD-TV, is charged with Cultivating Marijuana-Firearm Enhanced, (Class C Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor). Her husband Tyler Smoyer faces the same charges.

KSP received an anonymous tip through text of an indoor grow operation at a house on Ridgeland Drive in Mayfield. Troopers performed a “knock-and-talk” at the house and were able to gain enough evidence to obtain a search warrant for the residence.
Troopers then located five marijuana plants, six long guns, two pistols, two silencers, eight storage boxes of ammunition, a tactical vest and equipment used to grow pot. They also found two additional plants disposed of in a garbage can outside.
Smoyer and Shaw are lodged in Graves County Jail, while the investigation continues.
