Walker Back in Court Today
By WKMS and The Paducah Sun
Jerry Wayne Walker, Junior is set to appear in Calloway Circuit Court this morning for a hearing on six tampering with evidence charges related to a 1998 Murray State dorm fire that killed a fellow student. The Paducah Sun reports Walker’s attorney Dennis Null hopes the 8:30 am status hearing provides a resolution for the charges. Walker’s tampering with evidence indictments came just before his July acquittal on murder and arson charges for the same incident. Walker faces a maximum of 30 years in prison if found guilty on all charges.
