U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Comes Through for Area Farms

Washington D.C. – Farmers in Western Kentucky will share nearly $31 million to repair barns and other structures damaged by the January ice storm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says Kentucky is receiving almost half of $71 million in Emergency Conservation Program funds. All Kentucky counties in our listening area will receive funding, as well as Henry County, Tennessee.
