Earlier:

A portion of Kentucky Route 125 at the edge of Hickman in Fulton County is closed due to a natural gas leak that has caught fire. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the road is closed near Little General Convenience Store between KY 1192 and KY 1069 due to an underground gas leak on fire.

According to KYTC, witnesses say flames were several feet into the air at the site.

Fulton County Dispatcher Robert Griggs says there is little to no damage and that the issue is isolated to a gas pump at the convenience store. He said there are no reported injuries. He advised motorists follow detour signs.

The estimated duration is four hours.
