The Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce has selected Aaron Dail as the organization’s next President. Dail currently serves as the Executive Director of Murray Calloway County United Way.
"I'm excited and humbled to have this honor in representing our Chamber members and community efforts,” said Dail.”I'm looking forward to beginning work in partnership with the board and staff to accomplish great things and to meet and listen to the needs and wants of our chamber members."
Outgoing Chamber Board Chairman Tim Todd says Dail was among four finalists for the position. The Chamber enlisted the assistance of a national search firm to hire its next president.
"As a national award winning "chamber of the year" in 2012, and national accreditation pending very soon, the Murray/Calloway County Chamber of Commerce is positioned to rise to the next level and that means not only representing our business community with educational programming, legislative matters, and ultimately helping cash registers ring, but also serving as both an activist and catalyst with other community agencies to bring in new businesses, bring in new job opportunities, and grow this community, county, and region," said Todd. "Aaron Dail is the individual to lead that effort as the new President and CEO of the Chamber."
Dail replaces Lance Allison who left his position to head the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. The Murray Calloway County Chamber was a national chamber of the year in 2012. Dail assumes his post on August 25.
