Nashville, TN – Internal Revenue Service officials say over 600,000 Tennesseans deducted almost $4 billion in charitable donations on their federal tax returns last year. The IRS wants to remind individuals and businesses who want to make contributions to charities for the 2009 tax season, must do so by December 31st.
