Tennessee Disaster Relief
By Angela Hatton
Washington, D. C. – The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is giving Tennessee 20-point-6 million-dollars for disaster relief. The grant will aid residents in rebuilding their homes and businesses after they were damaged by tornados and severe weather this year. The money is a part of the six-billion-dollars in supplemental Community Development Block Grant funds given to states for expenses related to disaster relief and long-term recovery.
