Paducah, KY – With the 4th of July less than a month away, you may be in the market for a movie about baseball. Playing this week at Paducah's Maiden Alley, is Sugar from directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. A young man from the Dominican Republic travels to Iowa hoping to make it in the big leagues and learns about America, its people, and the national pastime. Todd Hatton speaks with Larry Thomas about the film.
