Soldier sentenced for hiring hitman
By Associated Press
Fort Campbell soldier Joshua Huntley will spend 11 years in prison for trying to hire a hit man to kill his ex-girlfriend.
22 year old Huntley was arrested last June after discussions with an undercover police officer posing as a hit man. Christian County Circuit Judge John Atkins sentenced Huntley this week. Huntley says he didn’t really want to go through with the hit, but was afraid to sever communications with the undercover officer.
