Search For Young Hunters Continues
By Chad Lampe
Murray, KY – Relatives of the two missing young Mayfield duck hunters are keeping up a lakeside vigil as the search continues for the pair. The hunters disappeared when their boat capsized last weekend, leaving one of its four occupants dead and another barely conscious when he was rescued. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Resources Department spokesman Mark Marraccini says searchers are using a sonar device to comb a portion of the Kentucky Lake. One of the missing hunters is McKenzie Stanley. His uncle, Larry Burgess, says family members are devastated. The tragedy has shaken the teen's home town. About 400 people attended a Monday night prayer service at First Christian Church in Mayfield, where the teen who died was a member. The Associated Press Contributed to this report.
