Reidland, KY – A Reidland man is in custody after allegedly leaving his infant son in an oven at his home for hours. Authorities charged 33-year-old Larry Long with wanton endangerment Monday morning after he placed his five-week-old son in an oven that wasn't turned on and left the door cracked overnight for hours. Police say the baby is unharmed and his mother, 33-year-old Brandy Hatton, has not yet been charged in the incident, though her children have been put in the custody of relatives. McCracken County Sheriff Jon Hayden says the couple has admitted to drinking alcohol the night before.
