Raising Money for Needline of Calloway County One Bowl at a Time
By Kate Lochte
Tonight from 5 to 7 p.m., The Murray Art Guild hosts an Empty Bowl soup dinner to raise money for Needline of Calloway County. Guild Director Debi Danielson visits Sounds Good with a few of the hand-made bowls contributed by local artists. The conversation covers stunning statistics about hunger in our county and Commonwealth. The dinner is out doors on the grounds of the Guild at 500 North 4th Street, and while there are over 200 bowls ready for the soup made by MSU Nutrition students, Danielson says there will be lines and the bowls will go quickly.
