Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Tennessee School District is offering alternative bus routes during bad weather. The Leaf Chronicle reports the school systems' "rain routes" are unique among the state's 95 counties. When it's raining or extremely cold, buses pick up and deliver students as close to their home as possible. Drivers must have ample turn-around space outside a residence to use the alternate plan.
