Racers Basketball Season Opens Tonight Against Houston

Tab Brockman, goracers.com

The Racers Men's Basketball team kicks off their 90th season tonight in a home game against the Houston Cougars at the CFSB Center, their first match against them since 1955. Cameron Payne was recently placed on the watch list for the Bob Cousy Award and Lou Henson Award (Racer Alum Isaiah Canaan had previously made this list). Tracy Ross gets a preview with Voice of the Racers Neal Bradley on Sounds Good.

Neal Bradley says the team has a much better reputation over the last 10 years than the previous 10 years. In a pre-season game against Freed-Hardeman, the Racers won 74-42. They are looking to continue their home game success tonight, carrying a 15-game home win streak. The game starts at 7.
