Smithland, KY – Juror selection in the Kevin Dunlap sentencing trial is nearing completion. The 34th juror was approved today which is the required number for a jury pool. However, Circuit Judge C. A. Woodall plans to qualify up to 60 jurors. The Kentucky New Era reports the case was moved to Livingston County to avoid pretrial publicity, but so far only two jurors have no knowledge of the case. The final jury should be in place Wednesday afternoon. Dunlap could face the death penalty for the 2008 murder of three Trigg County children.
