Hopkinsville, KY – Police have identified a Christian County man fatally shot in his home following an autopsy. 58-year-old James Simdon died of multiple gunshot wounds in an apparent home invasion. Kentucky State Police investigators continue to look for suspects in the case. The Kentucky New Era reports Simdon was the former owner of Skyline Liquors in Hopkinsville with a past history of drug trafficking and was the target of an armed robbery at his home about one year ago.
