Paducah officials are ready to unveil the city’s newest community space and park to downtown visitors.

Midstates Construction is finishing work on the $44-thousand dollar Main Square ART Park once a vacant space between two buildings on South 2nd Street.

The so-called ‘pocket park’ will be a creative outdoor space and garden. In additional to seating areas and landscaping, the park features metal art panels, ceramic art tiles, banners and sculpture from Paducah area artists.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place Friday at 10 AM.
