Paducah Police Seek Public Help Identifying Flag Thief

Paducah Police are seeking public help in identifying a man suspected of stealing flags from downtown and mid-town.

According to a news release, the man stole a U.S. flag in front of the police department Thursday morning.

Reports of flags stolen include Paducah Power, Broadway and Fountain Avenue, 28th and Jefferson Streets, outside of the Jackson House and five locations on Walter Jetton Boulevard.

City and state flags were also taken. Anyone with information can call the Paducah Police at 270-444-8550 or on the Crime Stoppers website. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
