Paducah Mayoral Race Closer Than Expected
By Casey Northcutt
Paducah, KY – Less than 50 votes decide the Paducah mayoral election last night. NewsTalk 94.3 WKYX reported that a 48 vote margin re-elected Bill Paxton to office. Paxton led the final tally with 5,079 votes to challenger Robert Coleman's 5,031. Coleman, however, led the race until the very end and says he will contest the results. Paxton says he didn't expect such a close race.
