Murray, KY – The number 18-ranked Murray State Racers Men's basketball team remains undefeated following their 87 to 75 win over Austin Peay Saturday. Their 16 and 0 mark ties the university's record set during the 1935-36 season. They face off next against Jacksonville State Thursday night at the CFSB Center. In other men's action, Jacksonville State won over Tennessee State 72 to 65, Eastern Kentucky beat Southeast Missouri 63 to 59, SIU Edwardsville defeated UT Martin 69 to 65, Eastern Illinois took down Houston Baptists 74 to 62, and Tennessee Tech came out on top over Morehead 66 to 55. In women's action, Murray State lost to Austin Peay 71 to 63, UT Martin brought down SIU Edwardsville 91 to 59, Eastern Kentucky beat Southeast Missouri 52 to 37, and Tennessee Tech won out over Morehead, 68 to 50.
