Frankfort, KY – The Kentucky office of employment and training is bringing in more people to help out of work Kentuckians find jobs. The division has hired sixty new employees. Executive Director Russ Salsman says the new hires will help with an increased demand on the department, which comes from the rising number of residents seeking unemployment benefits. Federal stimulus dollars provide the money for the workers, who will be in place through September 2010.
