Murray State University's Animal Health Technology/Pre-Veterinary Club and the Humane Society of Calloway County host a Doggie Day Spa and Pet ID Clinic this Saturday from 9 to 3 at the Carman Animal Health Center on College Farm Road. Services available include microchipping, dog baths, ear cleaning, nail trimming, custom ID tags, and dog DNA tests. Proof of rabies vaccination is required.

There’s a Murray Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day. A non-denominational worship service starts at 11, and the dinner is from 11:30 to 1 at the Murray Banquet Center. This year’s dinner is hosted by Soup for the Soul. Volunteers and donations are needed.

Angels Attic Thrift Shop seeks donations of clothing, furniture, appliances, household items, and toys. Community donations help Angels Attic Thrift Store fund the Angels Community Clinic, the Gentry House for homeless families, and other local agencies. Bring donations to 972 Chestnut Street Monday through Saturday from 8 to 5.
