Murray Prepares for Soldiers' Homecoming
By Casey Northcutt
Murray, KY – The 438th Military Police Company will return home to Murray Sunday. The 438th Family Readiness Group President Nicole Thomas says the organization will hold a short ceremony in honor of the company which has spent the past year in Iraq. The event will be held in the gymnasium of the Calloway County High School, and Thomas urges the community to line the streets for the troop's 10:30 a.m. arrival. She also asks that people decorate their front yards patriotically and that businesses post "welcome home" messages on their marquis. Anyone who wishes to attend the ceremony may arrive at the school as early as 8 a.m. to claim a seat.
