Of our region; Murray Independent, Calloway County,  and Ballard County schools rank the highest.

The KDE ranks individual schools and districts based on standardized test performances, teacher qualifications, student safety, awards and parent involvement.

Of the 25 districts in our region, 6 scored above a 70.5 to classify them as ‘distinguished,’ 15 are ‘proficient’ and 2 ‘need improvement.’ 10 schools showed improved scores over last year, 14 were lower and Daviess County’s accountability score stayed the same.
