Murray, KY – Murray State University has become more aggressive in its recruiting and the strategy might be paying off. The school reports an 18% increase in admissions for incoming in-state students over last year and 9% for out-of-state students. Executive Director of Enrollment Management Alison Marshall says that MSU's 18-county primary region is where the majority of increases are coming from. MSU has been offering on-the-spot admissions to qualifying students when representatives visit area high schools.
