Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Regional Airport is one step closer to building a new terminal and improving its runway after County Commissioners approved funding yesterday for matching grant money. Clarksville City Council members approved the city's half of the matching funds last week. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the next step now is to get approval for a $4 million U-S Commerce grant that will pay the bulk of the almost $5 million new terminal.
