Ledbetter Bridge Restricted to One Lane Beginning Friday

Continuing repair work on the Ledbetter Bridge restricts traffic to one lane starting Friday. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says the lane restriction will be in effect around the clock for about two weeks to repair concrete on the bridge. Todd says drivers should expect 5 to 7 minute delays.

KYTC has kept up maintenance on the aging bridge as construction continues on a new bridge upstream on the Tennessee River.
