Lake Barkley Airport Closed Until December

The Lake Barkley State Resort Airport will be closed until at least mid-December for a runway paving project. The airport shut down Monday to allow contractors to begin the resurfacing project. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says work could be delayed by weather conditions, but they expect the paving will be finished before Christmas.
