KY General Fund Receipts Down in January

Frankfort, KY – Kentucky's general fund receipts have dropped 3.3% in January compared with the previous year. The state budget office says total revenues for the month were just over $698.5 million dollars -- nearly $24 million less than state government took in during the same month in 2009. The budget office says receipts have now fallen almost 4.5% for the first seven months of the fiscal year.
