12 new troopers join the Kentucky State Police at Mayfield’s Post 1 this month.
Field training officers will supervise the new troopers for eight weeks, after which they begin normal assignments. The officers graduated the Kentucky State Police Academy after more than 1,000 hours of classroom and field study.
The KSP Academy graduated 69 troopers as part of its 92nd cadet class Saturday, bringing the force total to 910.
