The Kentucky Public Service Commission holds the final public meetings for the Big Rivers Electric rate case next Wednesday.
The PSC’s meeting is in Frankfort, but the public may voice their concerns about a 20 percent rate increase through a video conference. Big Rivers is increasing its rates following the loss of an aluminum smelter, one of its largest customers, at the end of January. The meeting and live stream locations are as follows:
