A consultant will be brought in to help with the search for a new leader of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
Regents appointed a committee on Friday to select the consultant who will ferret out potential replacements for current President Michael B. McCall.
McCall is set to retire in January 2015. McCall, who has led the community and technical college system for the past 15 years, has agreed to stay on as president until his successor is chosen.
The regents agreed to bring the consultant on board before beginning the search process.
