Cadiz, KY – Johnson Controls in Cadiz has announced they will close ahead of schedule. The Cadiz Record reports the plant had originally announced last fall that they would be shutting down operations this summer. However, plant officials recently announced they will be closing at the end of the month. Johnson Controls Management had no comment on what brought about the timeline change. Cadiz-Trigg County Economic Development Director Sharon Butts says job placement efforts for those being laid off by the plant have been stifled due to the current economy.
