An adjudicatory hearing in the ethics case against former western Kentucky state Rep. John Arnold has been postponed.

Judge Tony Wilhoit of the Kentucky Legislative Ethics Commission tells Kentucky Public Radio that a hearing in its case probing sexual harassment allegations against Arnold originally scheduled for Dec. 12 has moved to Feb. 25.

Wilhoit granted a motion filed by Arnold’s attorney for a continuance in the case. That motion stated that Arnold was awaiting a mental and physical health examination to determine his competency for trial. Arnold’s lawyer, Steve Downey, did not respond to a request for comment about this story.
