Paducah, KY – An estimated 700 Paducah Chamber of Commerce members gathered last night at the Carson Center for their 71st annual meeting. The Chamber honored many community members with annual awards including retired Engineer Buddy Smith who received the Citizen of the Year Award. Former President George W. Bush's daughter Jenna Bush-Hager gave the event's keynote speech. She spoke of her experiences with UNICEF in Latin America, and urged support for Haitians. Bush-Hager is currently a reading coordinator in Baltimore and special correspondent for NBC's Today Show.
