Hopkinsville Manufacturer Announces $25m Expansion

A Hopkinsville auto-parts manufacturer plans to add 200 new jobs with a $25 million expansion.

The Japanese company T.RAD manufactures heating and cooling components and currently employs 500 people at its Hopkinsville plant. 

Lieutenant Governor CritLuallen announced the expansion today touting Kentucky's automotive industry, which employs 82,000 people. T.RAD could receive up to $2.3 million in tax incentives for the expansion. 

A proud native of Murray, Kentucky, Allison grew up roaming the forests of western Kentucky and visiting national parks across the country. She graduated in 2014 from Murray State University where she studied Environmental Sustainability, Television Production, and Spanish.
