Hopkins County-Madisonville Public Library Names New Director
The Hopkins County-Madisonville Public Library named a Versailles man as its new director Tuesday. Library Chair of Personnel Gwendol McCaskill says Joel Meador was among 11 candidates for the job, which has been open since Lisa Wigley resigned last June.
Meador has served as the executive director for the Jack Jouett House Historic House and as a special collections librarian at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History. Meador’s tentative start date is March 1.
