Former Murray State Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach Tony Cross Has Died

Former Murray State University women’s basketball assistant coach Tony Cross died Wednesday in Murray. He was 64.

Cross joined the Racers in 2010 and served as assistant coach until this past season. He served as head of Belmont University women’s basketball program for 26 years.

At Belmont, he was ranked 20th on NCAA’s ‘Winningest Active Coaches’ by total wins and ended with a record of 544 to 255.

Visitation and memorial service plans are being arranged.
