Former Graves Teacher/Coach Pleads Guilty

By Chris Taylor

Mayfield, KY – A former Graves County teacher and coach pleaded guilty to burglary charges yesterday and is not going to jail as long as he follows terms of a diversion agreement.
35-year-old James Forthman Jr. allegedly broke into the same home three times in an attempt to steal Lortab pain pills. The Paducah Sun reports he was caught on camera by the homeowner. The terms of Forthman's agreement with the court include committing no further offenses, completing an in-patient drug treatment program, and remain drug and alcohol free.
