Faked Death Rebuttal

Paducah, KY – Democratic candidate for U.S House of Representatives Heather Ryan is dispelling rumors she faked her own death to avoid rent payments. The rebuttal comes after W-K-A-G in Hopkinsville ran a report this week that claimed Ryan or someone she knew faked death to avoid a landlord dispute from 2006. Ryan says the story is part of a Republican Party smear campaign to divert attention from the issues. She says she did have a dispute with her landlord after she violated her lease to move into her new husband's home, but, Ryan says, she paid the debt.
