Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff's Department is investigating a cache of explosives that were found in a field Sunday. Sheriff's spokesman Ted Denny says two hunters found a hundred pounds of C4 explosives on residential property. Denny says the C4 appears to be military ordnance, so officials from Fort Campbell as well as federal agents are investigating. The police department has a person of interest in the case, but they have not released the name.
