Paducah, KY – A mass of blankets and other linens from Paducah's closed Executive Inn will be donated to help earthquake victims in Haiti. Paducah Downtown Development Director Steve Doolittle yesterday vetted several church and humanitarian groups offering a way to transport the cloth. Doolittle tells the Paducah Sun the city is offering the items because they have little to no salvage or resale value. At least seven groups have contacted him offering to get the donation to Haiti.
