Dr. Jack Rose Named Chair of Provost Search Committee

Murray State Faculty Regent Dr. Jack Rose will chair the new Provost Search Committee which will meet for the first time this month. The committee is in charge of finding a new Provost and Vice-President of Academic Affairs to replace Dr. Bonnie Higginson.

Higginson is stepping down from the position at the end of June.  MSU President Dr. Randy Dunn appointed Rose to head the 17-member committee which includes representatives from each academic college and school, as well as professional staff and athletics. The new provost may begin their new position as early as July 1st.
