Authors Bud Alley and Jim Lawrence speak on “The Ghosts of the Green Grass and Reflections on LZ Albany” this Wednesday afternoon at 4 at Austin Peay State University’s Sundquist Science Center. Both authors participated in the battle at Landing Zone Albany and were wounded and decorated as a result of their efforts. Event admission is free.
The Purchase Area Master Clothing Volunteers offer a "Gifts from the Heart" seminar Thursday morning at 9 at the Calloway County Extension Office. The workshop presents fifteen gifts to sew.
